Have you heard the new Bright Eyes cd? Seriously, its worth considering. I've always respected Bright Eyes but never really got into them, but this new one...
Its genuine straight-up pretty alternative country. It sounds like an M Ward record. And since M Ward plays on about half the songs, that doesn't hurt either. Its also notable that Conor Oberst discovered that if you open your mouth when you sing, it sounds better. Nice.
I'll be listening to this cd soon on my new car stereo that I just installed. I bought new speakers and put in my dad's old car cd player into the Honda. Now I can drive around without finangling a portable cd player with its stupid touch screen.
