Restaurants

On Friday I said that I went to both the IHOP and Cafe. Well, today, as far as I know, is the first day since then where I haven't yet ventured to a restaurant.

Saturday I went to Pizza Works with the fam.
Sunday I went to Friendly's for ice cream with Erinn.
Monday night I went to Denny's with Dan super late.
Yesterday I drove Dan to Wendy's so he could get a snack.

So that's 4 days of burgers, pizza, and ice cream. I'm gonna have to get some salad in my belly pronto.

Not much else to report. Work in a few, same ol', same ol'.

Out and About

I made sure to take advantage of today, and it kicked.

I ate lunch with Caleb at the cafe. Tuna melt, french fries, NO pickle?! That upset me. We walked into the pet store next door, now under new management. I was not impressed. The guy who ran it while it was Johnson's Pets, did a way better job. Maybe the new owner is still getting settled? It seemed kind of thrown together.

Afterwards we went to Caleb's and played some video games, then watched The Motel. It was okay, not bad, but not too great either. It was about a lonely fat chinese kid who lives in a Motel with his family that own it. He meets a lonely Korean man and they have a friendship and the kid breaks out of his shell blah blah...

But speaking of shell...I saw the new Turtles movie. Did it kick ass? Yes. Erinn and I went to Crossgates. There's a dollar store that sells stuffed vegetables. They have since sold out of broccoli and mushrooms since I last checked, but they still had plenty of cucumbers, eggplants, and bell peppers. After the movie we made our way to IHOP. I ordered some fruit and coffee, which is now keeping me awake.

Great day, great evening, good night.

We'll sail tonight for Singapore!

In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king...so take this ring...

Have you seen the new trailer for Pirates 3? The movie will be awesome, although number 2 was a little disappointing, but I have faith.

Although I was kind of disheartened when I read recently that Disney is already writing the script for Pirates 4. Let's hope that this doesn't ruin the trilogy and will go straight to video under the radar. 4 movies in a series? Even Dirty Harry got a little weak...

Tomorrow Grandma Woods is coming over for dinner. I should get a hair cut before hand. Maybe, possibly, at midnight, I'll be seeing a Midnight showing of the new Turtles movie with Caleb and Wayne. But would so much fuss actually be generated? I guess I'll have to find out.

Uncle Bill will never leave a will
has a tumor as big as an egg
has a mistress, she's Puerto Rican,
and I hear she has a wooden leg

After months of hibernation, my feverish lust for Bob Dylan's songwriting is back. In the past two days, he's almost all I've listened to, with a hint of Beck here and there.

But Damn. Blood on the Tracks = the best lyrically written record of the 20th century.

Tomorrow is another day, with some work to look forward to so I can get out of the house for a good 4 or so hours. Lately I've been a hermit in my bedroom.

Today is the first day of Sping. I wish the season were actually here so I can get out and exercise and have fun, but the most recent snowfall killed the recent hope that we had. I want to go on hikes, drive around with the windows down, play frisbee, throw a baseball, and enjoy the sunshine. Go away, winter.

Guh.

I started this new Blogger mostly because my brother picked one back up, and I'm a copycat. I stopped writing in the old one mostly because you started reading it.

Ahem.

As of right now, I'm taking part in my typical week day evening. I've already eaten dinner, and I'm loafing around on my bed listening to tunes being a blob. My days are slowing down more and more, and thats the way its going to be until I can pick up more hours at work or hit camp season.

More to come...maybe...
